My ongoing experience as a translator (literature; advertising; cultural industries) and interpreter (popular culture, anime, film, traditional arts, philosophy, academic lectures) helps me keep classes current, cutting edge, and relevant to the world of today. |
| 国際文化演習 I/II | 2018年06月 (平成30年) | 2016年次〜 ゼミを持つことになりまして、三年目となる今年には履修生はほぼ３０人になっており、かなり積極的勉強しております。少し大変ですが充実した勉強で、世界文学の名作を日本語で教えております。多様性で満ちた内容を多様性に満ちた学生たちに教えることに挑戦しております。日本語のレベルも様々（先生も含めて！）で教えにくい時に皆で力と表現力を合わせて、乗り越えております。ベトナム人、韓国人、中国人、日本人の学生に、アメリカ人の教員というコンビネーションから、実に面白い解釈が生み出されて、人間形成まで至るような授業になっております。 |
